Devya's new single is released by the alternative net label White Dolphin Records called "American Vampires 1984". The song produced and remixed by the electronic group Arbeiter, combines elements of industrial music and EBM, and for this reason it is also called industrial dance. Featuring repetitive sequencer lines, analog sounds and digital samples, “American Vampires 1984” presents itself as highly danceable electronic music. It can be described as aggressive, and increasingly "obscure" electronic music. The art cover and musical work is inspired by the new US presidential election of 2020 and the DC Comics comic series created by writer Scott Snyder drawn by artist Rafael Albuquerque. The series imagines vampires as a population made up of many different secret species and traces the moments of evolution and conflicts between species throughout history. The centerpiece is a new American bloodline of vampires, born in the American West in the late 19th century. “American Vampires 1984”, extrapolated from the Various Artists compilation “Stop the Ansia” WDR11 of the same label, is available in digital music stores in streaming and download.
