Released on digital music platforms by the White Dolphin Records net label, “Asteroid / Ode to Ravi” is the new extended play of the electronic duo Looptrance. The two instrumental pieces proposed, see Dan (Drum Programming & Devices) and Yton (Guitars, Loops & Noises), grappling with improvisations of guitars on electronic ambient sound mats, which contain various influences deriving from listening absorbed and reworked by the two artists, ranging from German and Italian electronic kraut music, also with references to contemporary music. "Asteroid / Ode to Ravi" is a journey that can be listened to infinitely and that gives a sense of novelty to each new listening with explorations of infinite possible scenarios between cosmogony and primordial tribalism, evoking “new” visions, unimaginable, without thereby leading to the world of the artificial.
